Fill beaker
half with stearic acid. Heat it until all matter is molten and temperatur is about 100°C.
Put out the burner and let cool down. Determine temperature of substance all 30s.
Note in a table. Draw a T/t-graph. |

At 70°C the
temperature is stable for a period of time. |
interpretation: |
The melting
point of stearic acid is 70°C. |
